Link finally picked up Continuum yesterday. However, I was elsewhere by the time he got home, so I got told by him and Yarmond that they had "approved it for my viewing pleasure". Thanks guys. Really appreciate that.
We watched last night's SGA as well. It's really interesting watching this show with two guys who aren't in fandom at all, because their reactions are so different and yet so similar at the same time. I'm not sure any of the three of us were happy with the fact that Weir essentially airlocked herself. And it was Yarmond who said, as the credits were rolling, that he still really wishes RepliCarter would show up and we'd see interaction between her and RepliWeir. He was also the one who said that, when "Be All My Sins Remembered" aired, he was expecting them to be setting up a new group of bad guys, led by Evil!Weir. (And that there is almost his comment verbatium.) Which had (and still does have) the potential to be extremely interesting.
On an entirely different note, I'm vaguely amused and scared at how many concepts SGA has used recently that I based a s8 SG-1/s1 SGA AU on. Said AU has been living inside my head for the past year. I'd be worried about the SGA writers somehow data mining stuff off my harddrive or monitoring my conversations, but I think I'm giving them too much credit. (Plus, I think they're failing at the implementation. :) )
I have some pictures of various toys in my room that I'm working on uploading. I'd post them now, but they're on a server linked to my rl name, so, uh, I'm working on a separate solution. :) Default is I throw them onto Flickr. In the meantime, here's some plastic army men:

Team vs. giant mecha. I actually really like how this shot came out, with the "over the shoulder" view from the sniper.
