I totally failed a Will save today.
I now have a plastic!Cam and a plastic!RepliCarter.
The question is what to do with them now. I'm seeing either an epic sword fight or Cam and RepliCarter vs. EVA Unit-00.
Also, I think they look lonely. I need to figure out where else I can get them, because today was just random chance (and the only other options were Avalon Vala and Black Ops Daniel). Perhaps I should start scouring the local comic book stores (which would nicely complete my plan to completely fail to resist buying Nextwave). Alternatively, I know Amazon.com has some. My poor, poor wallet.

I keep looking at plastic!RepliCarter
(and I keep being annoyed that green BDU Jack and Daniel are hard to find because I like them in green and have Sam in green and if I'm going to cave and get the whole set I want them to match)
(and, what the hell? I seriously never was into dolls/action figures beyond lego people as a kid. Why me and action figures now?)
But. YAY to failing your will save. Sometimes you just have too.

I've been looking online. If I find green BDU Jack and Daniel, I'll let you know. (Because, yes. Matching. Very important. *nods*)
(I know! I had LEGO people and a few TMNT action figures when I was a kid. All of a sudden... A friend of mine is taking great pleasure in mocking me now. Although I think he might be jealous if I end up with a complete DHD and 'gate.)

Aw, Black Ops Daniel. One of my favorite types. But yeah, I can see the temptation would be rough.
Is Cam in green, blue, black, or tan? Or...dare I ask, undercover rawhide?

I was SO tempted.
Cam is in green. Aw man, now I want an undercover rawhide Cam. That would be a thing of beauty.

Matching *is* important. I think, from the looking I've done, I'm stuck with eBay. They were released much too long ago.
(plus, if I want to finish my 'gate, I need them. AUGH!)
(lego people! I used to do crazy things - like use regular LEGOs and parts of LEGO people and build these evil scientists that were part human, part machine, and have them try to take over the world.
I had a few friends when I was 12 or so give me a few Star Trek action figures (Worf and a Borg, I think) and I remember not knowing what to do with them)

Yeah, eBay. I had a bad experience with eBay once, so I'm wary of trying them, but I think that's the only place I can without paying stupid amounts of money. (I saw them in some online stores for about $80. Um, no.)
(I loved doing that! I'd build the actual sets about once, then mix all the pieces together and build whatever, so I'd get medieval castles with laser cannons. It was awesome.
Huh. Someone once gave me a Barbie doll, and I remember having no idea what to do with it. I think it became part of my experiment with understanding compressive force, involving the garage door. It was Science!)

Yep. Plastic!Sam was my Dragon*Con souvenir, when I realized I really ought to leave with something, and it just seemed right, but I'm not willing to go over $15 on them. I haven't used eBay much....
(yes! At my height I think my entire bedroom floor was giant city with monorail tracks around it and I had this castle "in the hills over the city" where the mad scientist was and...um. yeah :) I think they might have been invaded by Godzilla at one time)
(I had barbies. I admit that. I tended to use them to drive their car around the living room. And I chopped their hair off. And there were usually crazy adventures where Ken was abducted by vampires and needed saving or something. But LEGOs were more fun)

Plastic!Sam is a great Dragon*Con souvenir. I am jealous. :) (A friend of mine tells me eBay is great if you don't mind not always having original packaging. He buys lots of gaming miniatures from there for really good prices.)
(Oh man. I know that I once had a ski lift type thing spanning my entire bedroom. I'd also scrounge up styrofoam packaging materials and use that to add to the entire structure. I think there was a war against the dinosaurs.)
(Nothing wrong with having barbies. Crazy adventures are good. :) I just remember mine being so much bigger than even the TMNT figures that I didn't know what to do with it. Unless I wanted to go all Gulliver's Travels.)
