As I mentioned earlier, I do have a game design blog on Blogger at Sufficiently Advanced Handwaving. I've started updating it again, and I'm going to try to do it with more regularity. (Which will be something of a trick, considering how often I update this thing.)

There's an RSS feed account on Dreamwidth now, at sah_game_design_feed. (Damn you, character limits! *shakes fist*) I just made it, so it might take some time for data to propagate.

:) The last thing I wrote was kind of half-formed in my head and I was struggling coming up with much beyond the central thesis. That also might be related to the fact that I was writing it at 1am. :P

The topic's been in my head for the last few weeks. :) (Between listening to a friend complain that his campaign end turned into a "watch the GM-NPCs do Things while most of the PCs just kinda stand around, maybe" and discussing where the line between an NPC, a plant, and a PC are in LARPs) Trying to suss out a succinct essay on the topic was far more than my sleep-depped brain could handle. :) Glad you enjoyed it, though!
