• This time, travel went much, MUCH better. Except for flights at stupid o'clock (7AM) on < 4 hours of sleep. But, hey. No weather problems. Good job, 2009!
  
  
• I came home to find holiday cards from beanpot, holdouttrout, and abyssinia4077. Thanks guys. Your artwork made me grin like an idiot. :)
  
  
• Now that I don't have finals or other school work hanging over my head until February (and I PASSED ALL MY FINALS/CLASSES), I suddenly have this think that might be known as "free time". Tis very strange.
  
  
• I was thinking about s1 SGA episodes, and came to "Before I Sleep". This came to the realization that Elizabeth spent 10,000 years under the sea dreaming. This, of course, led to my brain going "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Elizabeth Weir Atlantis wgah'nagl fhtagn."
  
  Clearly, I need sleep.

I'm glad your trip back went well. Except for the early flight part, of course. I hate getting up that early to catch a plane. Or to...do anything, actually. So not a morning person.

And YAY! for you passing all your classes. That is awesome!

Oh believe me, I am so much more a night owl than a morning person. And the worst part about these early flights is that I don't sleep the night before because I'm like "gotta get up in (5, 4, 3, 2, ARGH) hours" while trying to fall asleep.

Oh man, there was one class I was actually failing very badly before the final. But I talked to one of the profs before drop date (we have drop date very, very late in the semester. Generally about 3 weeks before the end of term), and he told me if I could pass the final, I'd pass the class. So I kept with it, hunkered down, and PASSED IT. SO HAPPY.

And travel this time did not suck!

Funny you should ask (okay, true, you didn't), but that was part of the inspiration for my SGA/Lovecraft AU. :P
