Week in the Life: Day 7
1. You must take between 6 and 8 new photographs per day.
2. Your WITL must be consecutive. No skipping days.
3. You must post your photographs at the end of that day, some time after the last picture is taken.
4. Each photograph must have the time taken and a title, with no other explanation.

12:56 : Tanks of cold

18:15 : We call them "cheesegraters"

18:16 : Staring down the Infinite

18:17 : Boston skyline

20:17 : Truefax

20:29 : This is a Land of Dreams and Fire

I can't believe I actually managed to figure out pictures to take for 7 straight days. I hope some of you were entertained by this.

not just entertained; we were enlightened!

(those stone pillars look familiar...think I might've seen them at a museum in either Brooklyn, Chicago, or DC)

interesting quote, though. :)
(Baal-muse says "clearly that one didn't drink correctly")

Heh, I'm glad!

(The stone pillars are in the lobby at the main entrance to campus, known around here as Lobby 7. It's part of a set of buildings that have a definite Greco-Roman feel to them.)

The quote is one of my favorites. :)

I, for one, enjoyed this week. Very, very interesting.

I'm glad! I realized I would end up taking lots of pictures of campus, so I just gave up and kind of ran with it. There are still lots of other things I could have photographed but didn't.

ext_2207: (SGA - scientists or math dorks?)
Is there a science school that doesn't equate education there to drinking from a fire hose?

MIT does it, Caltech does it, Mudd does it...

Are we scientists just doomed to always be soaking wet?

(I've taken a firehose to the stomach at close range - those things have high pressure)
(come to think of it, I've taken a drink from a firehose...)

Yeah, I think we're just always going to be wet. Bring swimsuits. :P

(So, there was a prank once that attached a firehose nozzle to a drinking fountain...it actually worked afterward, too! You could literally drink from a firehose.)
