I was watching Discover Channel the other day with my muses...one scientist onscreen was saying how, if we were to build enough lenses (and get them into orbit) to stand between the Earth and Sun {part of an attempt to fire the sunlight elsewhere}, it would bankrupt the entire planet for several decades.
