Must remember that the [livejournal.com profile] apocalypse_kree fic should probably take precidence over the Atlantis source book. (Current thought on Wraith: Queens and Nobles = Vampire template + Telepath psion, modified. Drones = Vampire spawn + Psychic Warrior, modified)

Maybe I should work on making it have more than, uh, 2 sentences. *hangs head in shame*

Flying off to D*C tomorrow morning. Nervous. This is probably causing me to overpack by a factor of 2, but that might just be because I should have been a freaking boy scout. Except for the whole "boy" part.

Also finally managed to watch Continuum. Yarmond came home at the end of it, so we watched the last bits together, and then went off on a tangent about the new series, Stargate: Universe (sidetracking, of course, to once again stating that we want the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny: Stargate Edition, that being RepliCarter vs. RepliWeir). After telling him that SG:U has already gotten the nickname of Stargate: Voyager, that of course led to the question of what Stargate: Enterprise would be. Our answer: you know, a series about how much the Ancients screwed it all up might be interesting. ("It would not surprise me at all if the Goa'uld are yet another Ancient experiment gone wrong.") Maybe they can manage to go from "malicious incompetents" to "bumbling". Also, if the Ancients, Asgard, Furling, and Nox were allies, why? Where they allied against someone?

Personally I prefer Stargate: 90210 as a title, heh. (Because wasn't Stargate: Atlantis almost supposed to be Voyager? Trapped far away from home? Heh. I've bandied the idea of Stargate: Enterprise being this one...not for the plot premise, but the way Skiffy and BW have been promiting it sound like the ST creators talking about "relationships and new beginnings" and...no.

But your conjecture intrigues me. Maybe you should write for Bridge. ;-)

Well, we said that Atlantis was trapped...for a year. And the outpost, according to Yarmond, is more DS9. (I've never seen any of DS9, Voyager, or Enterprise.)

The idea of myself and my friends writing for Bridge is HILARIOUS. :) I'm not sure what you'd get. Probably lots of science that actually worked, lots of consequences for actions, characters making morally ambiguous choices and then dealing with the fallout, probably explosions...wait. This is sounding really good!
