So, this is apparently the end of The Quest for a Bloody Working Laptop. Hilariously, I was torn between getting a Dell Latitude E6400 and a ThinkPad T400 for the longest time and had finally decided on the Dell.
Then my friend who's working at IBM for the summer calls me and says "so, I hear you're looking for a laptop." Using his spooky voodoo working-in-the-corporate-world powers, I ended up with a sweet deal on a ThinkPad T400 that's just slightly off of what my original specs were. Meaning, it's loaded with Vista Business and I need to figure out whether or not I hate it or can tolerate it until Windows 7 comes out.
