Since I posted this to my main journal, in penance for forgetting about an earlier question meme, I figured I'd do it here too. Also, yes, my remembering the other one was prompted by seeing all of these pop up on my flist.

I seem to remember you mentioning being at MIT - what are you studying and what do you hope to do with it?

Actually, to be completely honest, I'm on a forced leave of absence from MIT right now, but hopefully that's ending soon. (I had some problems about 1.5 years ago. They told me to take some time off to get my head screwed on straight.) In any case, I'm studying Mechanical Engineering, with a side concentration in Electrical Engineering. Basically, I want to be able to design an entire system that integrates the electrical components with the mechanical ones better than how they have it now. As for what I want to do with the degree, well, I'm thinking of going into the defense industry. Not exactly where yet, but stuff like robots, guidance systems, and planes all interest me.

I'm kind of embarrassed about the Linkin Park CD I have on my iPod. I got it years ago, and never really got rid of it.
