I'm still dithering on Yuletide. I've sort of got the signups open and half-filled out in two separate tags (one including the "Dear Author" letter), but I'm uncertain if I want to commit.

(I'm considering offering Portal, Persona 4, Deepgate Codex, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Serial Experiments Lain)

Gah, someone tell me this isn't going to end horribly.

Yuletide has generally not ended all that well for me, but other people have awesome experiences, so I can't tell you if this will end horribly. Do you feel you'll be able to write fic in 4 weeks? When you have a different awesome fic you should be writing? :P

This is actually a really good point. Considering where my headspace is these days, I'm not actually confident about getting a fic done in 4 weeks. Not just the awesome fic, but, well, getting myself in the correct mental state to deal with Christmas plus this time pressure, I'm not sure if it's a good idea. :/

And yes, awesome fic. I think you might have just convinced me to maybe wait to next year.

Yeah, the timeline is *really* short this year, and with your headspace and Thanksgiving and Christmas and everything....yeah. As awesome as Yuletdie could be....
