Well, one class also gave out a surprise homework on Monday, due today. I was seriously questioning my ability to survive the weekend, as I'd have to spend this afternoon doing it instead of being in lab.

Then they realized that, wow, that was cruel and would probably kill some of us. But End-of-Term Rules state that today is the absolute last day classes with finals can have an assignment due. So, it's still technically, officially due today. But they gave the entire class an extension until Monday.

At least now the weekend looks survivable.

Really, I'd be more pissed if I didn't really like the prof for the class. And he seemed so honestly apologetic today in recitation about it, and the "yeah, we fucked up with that, but it's on the exam, and I really want you guys to have practice with this material before I throw it on you on the final" helped. The prof is a nice guy. It's just, well, the term right now sucks for pretty much everyone.
