Hi, yes, I am in fact alive. Last week was midterms, so of course I was sick but plowed through it anyway. However, I paid for it this week. On the other hand, the shirt I'm wearing today makes me all kinds of happy. It...kinda sums up my life, sometimes.
So, I've been stressed the last two weeks, mostly due to real life and school. A lot of the things I used to do for de-stressing aren't applicable right now, because I absolutely need my de-stressing time to be free-form and flexible, otherwise it's not de-stressing (unsressing?). Which means all but one of the tabletops I'm in have sort of fallen off to the side, and I haven't LARPed since January.
The upshot of all this, though, is that I'm becoming more and more convinced I need to write more things in order to destress, because the characters are doing crazy shennanigans in my head. (Yes, even the snake.) And it's fun, because I'm telling myself stories, and I feel like I should share them.
...okay, all of this was to justify to myself that I could write fic right now instead of doing the two homework assignments that are due tomorrow. Hey, less than 3.5 hours of sleep puts me in the right mindset to tackle RepliCarter again, right?
