It's brilliant and I could literally talk for hours about the series. :) (You know how sometimes, there's just this one thing that you will put down money for, no questions asked, immediately? This series holds that place for me.)
A friend of mine actually wrote a Persona tabletop system, which uses actual Tarot cards (and dice) for mechanics.
Edit: Not to mention that they do brilliant things with mythology, legend, and folklore. In a modern-day setting. (P3: urban, 2009. P4: country town, 2011)
