I have professed my deep and abiding love for LyX before, yes? Because if I haven't, it is a great failing on my part. For my love is deep. And abiding.
It also saved me from having the "wonderful" realization of "Microsoft Word ATE MY THESIS" that seems to plague AskMetafilter around this time of year. And from trying to figure out what arcane incants I'd need to do something simple like "associate THIS figure with THIS label, and make it work even if I have to add more figures later".
Unrelatedly, I'm pretty sure I am going to sleep forever by next week. In the mean time, time to go brew a pot of coffee.
