"So she's good cop, he's bad cop, you're morally-questionable cop, and I'm set-things-on-fire cop."
"Sounds about right."
--------
"WARNING: When attempting to be clever, make sure you not actually just being stupid."

"Did you remember to sacrifice the goat before burning the ISO to the DVD-R?"
"Crap! Um, I've got a charred piece of meat here."
"That's called a steak. That's dinner. What about the sacrifices?"
--------
"I escape through quantum-tunneling. What do I need to roll for that?"
--------
"Why is it called a 'Monkeylord'?"
"Because it looks like a spider."

(a) Three facts about them from my personal fanon. Or canon, in this case.
1. Alexander has a really, really strong "pack mentality". Her mother and grandfather knew this, but didn't really realize the extent to which this is the case until she was roughly 18 and had shown zero interest in the opposite sex. Or same sex. And then proceeded to get hilariously tongue-tied around the Emperor's kids who were around the same age, because they are "pack" and she could only ever be attracted to them.
This caused a lot of face-palming between Natalia (mom), Mikael (grandfather), and Emperor Lei.
2. Due to the fact that the Skadi genes are X-linked traits on the Kalmikov line, and actually need the Y chromosome to balance, Alex's DNA was initially highly genetically unstable. She was on a cocktail of drugs from the womb up until she was about 4 years old, and then some amount during puberty. It really wasn't fun.
3. One of the best things about growing up on Enceladus, despite the isolation, was spending nights in the glaciers. She'd sit out with a blanket and watch the light from the stars play across the ice as Saturn loomed overhead. But by far the best times were when one of the geysers went off, sending plumes of water and ice into the atmosphere, and glittered like diamonds as the light from the Milky Way refracted through the frozen water. Alex still goes out to watch it whenever she's home long enough.
And RepliCarter! Because, yes, you are predictable. :)
(a) Three facts about them from my personal fanon.
1. When she went to the Alpha Site, asking SG-1 to destroy her, she meant it. No matter what Fifth had done to her, she was still Sam Carter, and Sam Carter calls no man "master". Oh, she'd give her loyalty, but she'd rather be dead than a slave.
2. When Jack and Teal'c, and even Sam herself, turned on her, she was expecting it. She knew Jack and Teal'c's track record on alternate selves. She had a Plan B for when that happened. It still hurt. She still felt betrayed. And once she felt that she had nothing left and her back was against the wall, only then did the breaks come off.
3. Not quite dead. Probably floating around somewhere in a back-up data drive. Because no way did she not have a contingency plan, and back-ups like crazy, and data is very, very, very hard to destroy once it's been on a network. :)
