Give me the title of a story I've never written, and feedback telling me what you liked best about it, and I will tell you any of: the first sentence, the last sentence, the thing that made me want to write it, the biggest problem I had while writing it, why it almost never got posted, the scene that hit the cutting room floor but that I wish I'd been able to salvage, or something else that I want readers to know.

Yeah, the Dulce'verse is very much a Work in Progress. But baby!Mitsuru...you just gotta wonder what those first times were like. She's got shoes that are too big for her, but she's so stubborn even then that she's going to try to fill them. And Shinji and Akihiko try so hard to be bigger and stronger than they really are.

The hardest part was writing that scene where Mitsuru summons Penthesilea for the first time. When you see her in the game, she's so comfortable with it, but this first time, she has to put the Evoker up to her head and pull the trigger, not actually knowing if it's going to work. I mean, it should be, but that instinctual "oh my god, this is a gun pointed at my head and I'm going to pull the trigger" isn't easy to get rid of.

As to the Tartarus lobby...we'll see. :)
