So, I'm playing in a high-action, run-for-your-life LARP on Saturday night. I'm not sure what insanity possessed me, but I am.

My standard for such things is BDU pants and a tac vest because OMG pockets. Considering the fact I shall be in need of such features, I'm trying to figure out why the HELL I'm looking at tabard patterns. And eying old bed sheets. And wondering if I can achieve a frayed, beat-up, slightly-desperate look if I forgo a lot of the actual sewing, since I do not sew.

What the hell?

Don't mess up your knees!

Considering I'm currently pondering making a RepliCarter costume, I'm guessing you can blame the brainlink.

Have fun!

Oh, I'm so bracing both of 'em. I may be insane, but I'm not stupid. :)

Yeah, I was thinking you were to blame for the sudden desire to make a costume. I suppose I could also do what I did the last time I found myself in a sewing project: use Stitch Witchery, which is pretty much epoxy for cloth.

Isn't that the same I hat I wore for the black mage NPC in Heaven's Rift? :) (HR was HOW many years ago?)

Also, yeah, I'll take it.
