Things various
1) Parents were in town this weekend, which meant I didn't nearly do enough writing to please RepliCarter. (I did, however, get a bike! I no longer have to deal with public transportation all the time to get to class. \o/) Parents also laughingly rolled their eyes at the action figure collection. And the Legos.
1a) At least, until my dad found one of my Nerf revolvers and decided it was way too much fun to play with.
1b) Also a bit of good-natured teasing when I absolutely had to go into a comic book shop and walked out with more toys. (I can haz an Atlantis 'gate! The guys were also amused/happy when I brought it home. Have I mentioned I have the best housemates ever?)
2) Currently on hold, as I'm trying to get in contact with a bank about what the hell is up with this loan I applied for months ago. They keep saying I need to give them another document every single I've given them everything they've asked for. Of course, what makes this even more special is that it's currently a race between when I'm going to get to speak with an actual human being and when my phone runs out of power.
I'm betting on the phone.
EDIT: Holy crap, the bank won. And they're just as bewildered as I am. This fills me with great confidence. Oy...

apocalypse_kree. I really have a soft-spot for apocalypse fiction. (Maybe it's all the console RPGs?) I think I'll definitely do it if I see a prompt I really like.

It's definitely the console RPGs. I haven't played a good JRPG in a while, and now that I'm getting to the end of Persona 3 I'm all excited because finally! An apocalypse! It's been so long!
