I could. I could romance Liara. But Garrus is right there. (As it turns out, I am apparently a sucker for trust-and-mutual-respect as a foundation for friends-to-lovers. Because hell if I actually romanced anyone in the first game, as apparently, my Shepard was highly damaged and had trust issues. Don't you just love it when characters just start driving.)
